Nam Dinh FC signed a 3-year contract with central defender Dang Van Toi and midfielder A Mit (until 2028). Both players have just ended their contracts with Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa FC, respectively.
This is an opportunity not to be missed for the Southern team in the process of strengthening its forces towards participating in 5 arenas of the new season.
Dang Van Toi, born in 1999, grew up in the famous youth training system of Hanoi Club. He is a case of strong breakthrough after regrets at the youth level.
Van Toi was called up to the Vietnam U20 team to prepare for the 2017 U20 World Cup, before being captain of the Vietnam U19 team to compete in the 2018 U19 Asia Championship. Van Toi missed both tournaments due to injury.
When called up to the U23 Vietnam team to prepare for the 31st SEA Games at home in 2021, Van Toi also did not catch the eye of coach Park Hang Seo.
But from 2022, after many years as a reserve at Hanoi Club, Dang Van Toi was brought back to Hai Phong by coach Chu Dinh Nghiem and revived his form.
He contributed a lot to the V-League runner-up position of the port city team in the 2022 season. Since then, Dang Van Toi has maintained stable performance, continuously playing as a starter, and is an important player in coach Chu Dinh Nghiem's defensive system.
That consistent performance helped Toi be called up by coach Kim Sang Sik to the Vietnamese national team to play in the third qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup (as a reserve in the match against Malaysia).

A Mit, born in 1997, from Kon Tum. Although not yet a national player, he has played prominently in the V-League, especially during his time with Thanh Hoa (from 2022 to present). He has speed, technique, aggressiveness and agility, and is considered by Nam Dinh Club to be suitable for the tactics.
In the 2025-2026 season, coach Vu Hong Viet's team will compete in 5 arenas: National Super Cup (August 9), V-League, National Cup, ASEAN Club Championship and AFC Champions League Two. The team from Thanh Nam will continue to announce quality new recruits in the near future.
