Coach Polking's team has been strengthened with many high-class players before the new season. In addition, the Police team is also assessed to have a cohesive playing style, diverse and more effective tactics than last season.
In the 2025-2026 season, CAHN Club, as the reigning National Cup champion, will participate in many competitions, including two international competitions: AFC Champions League Two and Southeast Asian Cup C1.
In the opening match of the Southeast Asian Cup C1, Mr. Polking and his team had to play away in Thailand, the place where CAHN missed out on the championship title last season, when they lost to Buriram United in the penalty shootout in the second leg of the final.
The police team has many high-class players.
As the current runner-up, CAHN has become a candidate for the Southeast Asian Cup C1 championship this season. Competing in the land of golden pagodas is not an easy task, but it is also an opportunity for CAHN Club to prove its ambition to compete for the championship.
The match between BG Pathum United and CAHN is not just a group stage clash but also a competition between the "big guys" of Southeast Asian football. The home team is a well-balanced team, well-invested and has many national players such as: "Thai Messi" Chanathip, Sarach, Worachit and goalkeeper Chatchai Bootprom....
Although the two clubs have never faced each other, the Thai players are no strangers to the stars wearing the national team jerseys of CAHN. Experts believe that the battle in the midfield, where Quang Hai, Thanh Long, Chanathip, Sarach... are present, will determine the final result of this match.
