Hoi Am villagers, Vinh Am commune provide fish fry to local farmers

According to information from the People's Committee of Vinh Am commune, up to now, the whole commune has developed 21 hectares of production and supply of fish fry in Hoi Am village with 126 households and 248 workers directly participating in production.

Annual output reaches 11,000 - 12,000 fish fry, total revenue of the region reaches nearly 10 billion VND, average per household reaches about 80 million VND/year.

In particular, the fish seed product has been registered as a collective trademark for key products, specialties, and craft village products that have been protected under the name "Hoi Am fish seed logo".

Every year, people in Hoi Am village, Vinh Am commune supply 11,000 - 12,000 fish fry to the market.

In the coming time, the Commune People's Committee will focus on reviewing, planning, and publicly announcing existing concentrated production areas; completing traffic infrastructure, irrigation, electricity, and environmental treatment, striving to have 610 hectares of aquaculture area by 2030, focusing on developing the earthworm area and aquatic seed production area.
