Program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen" in 2025

On the morning of August 26, at Phong Doanh commune, the Command of Coast Guard Region 1 coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee to organize the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen" in 2025. Attending the program were comrades: Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Hung, Deputy Political Commissar of the Command of Coast Guard Region 1; Dang Anh Tuan, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and more than 200 delegates who are cadres, teachers, students and people of Phong Doanh commune.

Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Hung, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 1 Command; leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, wounded and sick soldiers, and people in difficult circumstances.

At the program, the reporter of the Command of Coast Guard Region 1 disseminated and introduced the Coast Guard Force and the situation of Vietnam's seas and islands; the recent situation in the East Sea; regulations on combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing to cadres, teachers, students and people of Phong Doanh commune.

Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Hung, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 1 Command, presented a gift to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tuyen.

On this occasion, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tuyen (Binh Thuong village); presented 150 gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people in difficult circumstances; 50 gifts to students who have overcome difficulties to study well; and presented bicycles to support students to excel in their studies.

The program “Coast Guard accompanies fishermen” is a practical activity, demonstrating the sentiment and responsibility of the Vietnam Coast Guard in general, and the Coast Guard Region 1 Command in particular, in supporting families with preferential policies, people in difficult circumstances, and encouraging students to strive to rise up. Thereby, contributing to raising the awareness of cadres, teachers, students and people of Phong Doanh commune about Vietnam's sea and islands, building a strong national defense.
