Heavy rains caused by storm No. 5 have caused many traffic routes in the province to be flooded or eroded. On National Highway 47 through Tho Ngoc commune, the water level is still about 70cm deep this afternoon, making it impossible for cars and motorbikes to pass. Local authorities and functional forces have put up warning signs, stretched ropes to block the road, and assigned forces to guard 24/7, preventing vehicles from passing to ensure safety.

On Route 519B through Tan Thanh Commune, the water of the Dan River rose high and flowed rapidly, causing two locations, including the Cua Du culvert and Thanh Nang culvert, to be deeply flooded, at times reaching up to 4m. By 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, this area was still flooded about 2m deep, causing traffic disruption, completely cutting off more than 1,500 households with nearly 6,500 people in 12 villages of Tan Thanh Commune.
