Final round of the English debate competition "Skyline Spark ignite your voice"

On the evening of June 7, at Khanh Hoa Provincial Library, Skyline Academy Online Education System coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize the semi-finals and finals of the English debate contest "Skyline Spark ignite your voice" with the theme "AI Technology - Khanh Hoa Traditional Culture: Opposing or supporting".

The semi-finals had the participation of 10 teams, including 4 junior high school teams and 6 high school teams, selected from 19 teams in the preliminary round. The teams were drawn into 5 pairs to debate around the theme of the competition. Accordingly, 6 teams with high scores were selected to the final round, competing in 3 levels: General exam; randomly drawn topic; competing for first, second, and third prizes. Scoring criteria were based on: Debate skills, presentation and language, critical thinking, and teamwork.

As a result, the organizing committee awarded the first prize, a scholarship worth 100 million VND, to the Masterchefs team of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Nha Trang City); the second prize, a scholarship worth 60 million VND to the Artifex team of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted; the third prize, a scholarship worth 30 million VND to the Bladed Voices team of Mai Xuan Thuong Secondary School (Nha Trang City).

Representatives of the Organizing Committee and Mr. Le Dinh Thuan - Deputy Director of the Departmentof Education and Training awarded the first prize winning team.

Representatives of the contest organizing committee and Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang - Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper awarded the second prize team.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee and Mr. Van Ngoc Sen - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council of Khanh Hoa University awarded the third prize to the team.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee presented flowers to units accompanying the program.

Delegates attending the program and the competing teams took souvenir photos.

The competition aims to create an academic playground for high school students to demonstrate independent thinking, critical thinking skills and creativity in a context where technology is deeply affecting life.
