The semi-finals had the participation of 10 teams, including 4 junior high school teams and 6 high school teams, selected from 19 teams in the preliminary round. The teams were drawn into 5 pairs to debate around the theme of the competition. Accordingly, 6 teams with high scores were selected to the final round, competing in 3 levels: General exam; randomly drawn topic; competing for first, second, and third prizes. Scoring criteria were based on: Debate skills, presentation and language, critical thinking, and teamwork.

As a result, the organizing committee awarded the first prize, a scholarship worth 100 million VND, to the Masterchefs team of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Nha Trang City); the second prize, a scholarship worth 60 million VND to the Artifex team of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted; the third prize, a scholarship worth 30 million VND to the Bladed Voices team of Mai Xuan Thuong Secondary School (Nha Trang City).
