Create a healthy playground
With a passion for Mathematics since childhood, Cao Hoang Nguyen (born in 2003), a student of Natural Science Education at Phu Yen University, has been given the opportunity to develop his strengths. In the 2025 National Mathematics Olympiad for Students and Pupils in Ho Chi Minh City, Cao Hoang Nguyen won second prize in Analysis and third prize in Algebra.
Hoang Nguyen shared: Studying Natural Science Education, I had the opportunity to learn more about Mathematics. When the school introduced me to the Math Olympiad, I registered to participate. Under the guidance of teachers at school and other reference materials, I prepared carefully for the competition and won a high prize. This is a very useful knowledge playground, helping me have the opportunity to compete with friends from other places and consolidate my knowledge.
Phu Yen University has just organized a ceremony to honor students with outstanding achievements in national academic and sports competitions. This is an opportunity to encourage and recognize the spirit of learning and training of students as well as create strong motivation for students to continue to strive and achieve higher achievements in the future.
Dr. Tran Lang, Principal of Phu Yen University
To create a healthy playground for students, the Central University of Construction has established and supported the activities of 6 academic clubs and 8 movement, soft skills and volunteer clubs (sponsored by the Student Association) to support learning, improve professional skills and contribute to the development of social skills for students.
According to Dr. Pham Ngoc Tien, Chairman of the School Council, the clubs have been operating enthusiastically, bringing good results, creating many meaningful activities. The school has also organized for students to participate in school-level Olympic competitions and national Olympic competitions; participate in Loa Thanh Awards, Architecture Festival, and Green Architecture. The good news is that through the competitions, the school's students have achieved many high achievements such as 1 all-around prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 1 third prize in team building at the 14th National Architecture Festival - HUSC 2024...
Creating high quality human resources
Organizing activities, creating conditions for students to participate in exchanges, competitions, learning from each other’s experiences as well as many forms of encouragement and rewards for students who study well, win prizes in Olympic competitions, students who do scientific research, etc. have a strong effect of encouraging and recognizing the initial success of students. This is also an important factor to contribute to building and training a high-quality human resource, meeting the labor needs of today’s society.
Dr. Tran Lang, Principal of Phu Yen University, said: In order for students to develop comprehensively, the school directs faculties, departments, and student organizations to coordinate with sponsors to continuously improve the quality of the playground and expand useful programs. Creating a healthy playground for students is not only about organizing recreational activities but also investing in high-quality, healthy, and dynamic human resources. This is a necessary step to develop a modern educational environment, creating a solid foundation to help students confidently integrate and mature in society.
Meanwhile, according to Dr. Tran Thanh Long, Director of the Banking Academy - Phu Yen Branch, developing hobby clubs (sports, arts, science and technology, volunteering, etc.) is a form of playground that many schools have effectively implemented. Recently, the school has invested in building outdoor playgrounds and common rooms to help students have a place to relax, exchange experiences, study and meet friends. In addition, cultural and entertainment activities such as music nights, talent contests, and soft skills workshops are being regularly organized by the school to attract students to participate. Thanks to that, students can not only improve their health but also improve their teamwork skills, creative thinking, and communication skills.
