Initial information from the People's Committee of Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa said that at around 11:00 a.m. on June 20, at the house of Mr. LCT (born in 1953) and Mrs. HTO (born in 1962, both in Chi Ly village, Yen Khuong commune), the couple was found dead.

At the scene, Mrs. O.'s body was discovered by locals in her family's banana garden with many wounds on her body. Mr. T. died inside the house, lying on his back, with traces of burnt electrical wires around his body.
