Sharing experiences in promoting gender equality

Implementing Plan No. 1019/KH-BDH of the Executive Board of Project 8, Yen Lap district on organizing "Propaganda contest to eliminate harmful backward cultural practices, gender prejudice and prevent and combat domestic violence"; Executive Board of Project 8, Luong Son commune, Yen Lap district organized an exchange to share experiences in propagating and implementing gender equality with the participation of 8 communication teams/8 competition teams of the commune.

Many skits are elaborately and creatively staged.

At the exchange program, the teams demonstrated their communication skills through the form of dramatization with elaborately and creatively staged skits; humorous and witty poems revolving around the theme of propaganda, mobilizing to change thinking and ways of doing things in preventing and combating domestic violence, eliminating gender stereotypes, and building a safe living environment for women and children.

The exchange program has contributed to finding, nurturing and promoting the capabilities of typical communication teams and members, actively spreading learning, sharing good, creative and effective practices suitable to local realities, aiming to gradually and effectively implement the goals of Project 8, contributing to the completion of the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Luong Son commune, phase I (2021 - 2025).
