The contest "Startup ideas and projects for young people in Nghe An province" is an annual activity of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union with the aim of training high-quality human resources, accompanying young people in finding jobs, establishing themselves and starting a business.

At the same time, inspire and motivate young people to be confident in work, production, and strive to become rich legitimately in the new situation.

In 2025, the contest was officially launched in March, quickly spreading and attracting the attention of many young people with nearly 100 ideas and projects submitted.

The Provincial Youth Union honored and awarded 11 best ideas and projects of the contest.

First Prize:

Project "Growing chrysanthemums intercropped with melons in high-tech greenhouses". Contestant group: Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Nguyen Huu Hung (former Nam Dan district, now Van An commune and Dai Hue commune).

Second Prize:

1. Project "Explore Nghe An" by the group of authors Tran Le Minh, Tran Viet Cuong (Vinh University High School for the Gifted).

2. Project "Expanding and developing the Ky Hang peanut and sesame oil brand from local agricultural products" by author Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang (former Tan Ky district, now Nghia Hanh commune).

Third Prize:

1. Project "production and trading of Vietnamese Bamboo Tube wine" by author Dang Ngoc Huyen (old Yen Thanh district, now Hop Minh commune).

2. "LS Edu learning connection application" by the group of authors Luu Thi Tran Tran - Bui Thi Khanh Huyen - Le Tu May - Nguyen Thi Hoai An - Ngo Phung Xuan Phu (Vinh University).

3. Project "Japa - National hangover drink serving everyone's needs at low cost" by author group Nguyen Manh Quynh - Truong Xuan Loc - Nguyen Khanh Linh (Vinh University).

Encouragement Prize:

1. Capmedia project by author Nguyen Thi Tra Giang (Nghe An University).

2. Project on Production of Loc Nhien Pineapple Vinegar - group of authors: Van Thi Ngoc Anh - Hoang Thi Yen Nhi - Nguyen Thi Viet Hang - Pham Thi Thuy Linh - Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam (Vinh University).

3. Iot multi-function dryer project by the group of authors Bui Thi Linh Trang - Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quyen - Ho Huu Anh (Vietnam - Korea College of Technology).

4. Smart Nap Pod automatic rest room project by author Ma Thi Hue (Nghe An Province Startup Club).

5. The research idea of recycling waste cooking oil into diesel engine fuel to reduce emissions and environmental pollution by the group of authors Hoang Van Thu - Phan Van Quyet - Dinh Viet Tien (Vinh University of Technical Education).

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded the prize for the Contest "Uncle Ho in the hearts of Nghe An children" in 2025. The contest aims to concretize Plan No. 313 dated March 26, 2025 of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on propaganda and celebration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

The contest was organized by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in coordination with the Nghe An Department of Education and Training. After 2 months of implementation with 2 contents: Building a music video "Uncle Ho with folk songs" and writing contest "Homeland in His heart", the contest received enthusiastic responses from primary and secondary school students in the province.

At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Special Prize, 2 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes; 9 Encouragement Prizes for the content: Creating the music video "Uncle Ho with folk songs".

For the writing contest "Homeland in People's Hearts", the Organizing Committee awarded 5 Encouragement prizes; 6 Third prizes; 3 Second prizes; 1 First prize.

For the music video creation contest "Uncle Ho with folk songs":

The special prize belongs to the group of authors: Nguyen Phuong Uyen - Class 4D, Le Mao Primary School; Nguyen Nhat Linh - Class 6E, Le Mao Secondary School, Vinh city; Vo Nhat An - Class 6Q, Hung Dung Secondary School.

First Prize went to the group of authors Nguyen Cong Minh - Class 4B, Lang Sen Primary School, Nam Dan District; Nguyen Cong Anh - Class 8A, Kim Lien Secondary School; and author Dang Tram Anh - Class 6A, Nghi Yen Secondary School.

Writing contest "Homeland in People's Hearts", the first prize winner belongs to author Tran Da Huong - Class 10D1, Thanh Chuong 1 High School.
