(NLDO) - The opening ceremony will be held at the same time from 8:00 to 9:30 on September 5 at educational institutions in the city. Students will not be mobilized before 7:00.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a notice to the People's Committees of 168 wards, communes, and special zones, and principals of educational institutions about organizing the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year will be held at the same time from 8:00 to 9:30 on September 5, 2025 at educational institutions in the city.

The national opening ceremony program for the 2025-2026 school year will be held simultaneously in person at the National Convention Center and online via live broadcast on VTV1 television at educational institutions.

In preparation for the opening ceremony, the Department of Education and Training of the City requires heads of educational institutions to review conditions, arrange space and equipment to broadcast the National Opening Ceremony live, coordinate with local telecommunications and television units to ensure stable signals, high quality images and sounds. Arrange audio-visual equipment (LED, TV) to ensure enough for the entire school to attend and follow the Opening Ceremony Program for the 2025-2026 school year (the Ministry of Education and Training will issue a written notice about online connection lines).

For preschool level, based on actual conditions, organize "Children's Day to School" ending before 8:00. Only organize the opening ceremony in the yard for preschool children, the remaining classes watch live TV in the classroom group.

For newly built schools, the inauguration ceremony will be held on September 5, 2025. The opening ceremony will not be held at the same time as the inauguration ceremony and students will not be mobilized to attend the inauguration ceremony.

For units receiving medals, ensure conditions for organizing the reception of city leaders to attend the ceremony to receive the Second and Third Class Labor Medals according to the Directive Document of the Department of Education and Training. The ceremony will start at 7:30 and end before 8:00, with a concise program, reducing the part of reporting achievements and congratulatory speeches.
