At around 6:50 p.m. on August 12, a fire broke out at Mr. Le Phuoc Sang’s house and spread to Mr. Le Van Tho and Mr. Le Van Duyen’s houses. People discovered the fire, shouted, joined in putting out the fire, and reported it to the authorities.
Tay Yen Commune Police coordinated with the Commune Military Command and local people to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading. The initial cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
The fire did not cause any human casualties, but burned down all of Mr. Sang's family's property and part of the property of the other two households, with total damage estimated at more than 260 million VND.
The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Yen commune are mobilizing resources to support families affected by the fire. Among them, Mr. Sang's family is in difficult circumstances.
