Big fire at scrap warehouse in Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park

At around 10am on June 29, a large fire suddenly broke out at a scrap warehouse of a company located in Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Tan Phu Trung Commune, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Tan Phu Trung commune leaders informed that the fire burned down an area of ​​about 2,000 square ^meters of the factory area belonging to a company specializing in scrap trading.

The company is located on Tam Tan Street, along the riverbank, inside the industrial park.

By nearly 2:00 p.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Ho Chi Minh City Police, the Fire Fighting Team of Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park and related units had completely controlled the fire.

The fire did not cause any human casualties, but many assets and warehouses of the company were burned down.

Earlier, at around 10am, workers saw fire and a column of smoke rising high, so they ran outside shouting for help. Although many people joined in to put out the fire, because there were many flammable materials inside, the fire was not extinguished.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many soldiers and specialized fire fighting vehicles to the scene.
