On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, Comrade Nguyen Van Loi sent congratulations to all officers and soldiers of the Ho Chi Minh City Police; reviewed the glorious tradition of the People's Police force since its establishment in the spirit of the August Revolution in 1945, through 80 years of attachment and companionship with the people in the resistance wars as well as the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
During that journey, the People's Public Security force has achieved countless feats, demonstrating the spirit of serving the people, ready to sacrifice blood and bones to protect the peace of the country and the lives of the people. In particular, during the 50 years since the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security has made extremely important contributions to the cause of protecting and developing the city.
Comrade Nguyen Van Loi sincerely thanked the close and effective coordination of the Ho Chi Minh City Police with the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation in performing assigned tasks; acknowledged the efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City Police in constantly improving, consolidating, innovating, creating, and building the image of a police officer close to the people, serving the people. Especially the effective implementation of projects, including Project 06, to serve the people more quickly, conveniently, and practically.

Lieutenant General Mai Hoang said that in the series of commemorative activities, Ho Chi Minh City Police organized the opening of the exhibition and launched the movement "Youth of Ho Chi Minh City Police promote the application of science and technology, pioneer innovation, digital transformation to serve the work of the Police", and continued to implement many key tasks to maintain political security and social order and safety.
Lieutenant General Mai Hoang informed that in the first 7 months of 2025, the security and order situation in the city was basically stable; crimes against social order were reduced compared to the same period in 2024, bringing peace of mind to the city's people.
Currently, 168 police units in Ho Chi Minh City have been assigned the task of receiving and handling administrative procedures independently in 168 wards, communes, and special zones, bringing convenience and satisfaction to the people. Ho Chi Minh City Police will continue to promote administrative reform, improve the efficiency of serving the people; aiming to be closer to the people, serve the people more effectively.
Lieutenant General Mai Hoang affirmed his determination that the Ho Chi Minh City Police force will continue to unite, innovate, be devoted and devoted to the peaceful and happy life of the people; always worthy of the trust and expectations of the Party, the State and the people.
