(NLDO) - A row of kiosks at Thanh Da market suddenly caught fire.

On March 17, Ward 27 Police, Binh Thanh District (HCMC) is coordinating with relevant forces to investigate the market fire.

At 10 p.m., a fire broke out at a plastic goods stall in Thanh Da market. When the fire was discovered, people tried to put it out but failed.

The fire then spread to the row of kiosks next door, burning fiercely.

At 10:50 p.m., the fire police of Binh Thanh District and Ward 27 Police were trying to put out the fire.

The burned area is the kiosks next to Thanh Da market, which usually sell decorations, books, newspapers, rice shops, household items...

A representative of Ward 27, Binh Thanh District confirmed the fire. Authorities are currently investigating the cause.

About 50 police officers were mobilized to fight the fire.
