The Traffic Police Force of Tay Ninh Provincial Police not only fulfills its task of ensuring traffic order and safety well but also actively and proactively participates in preventing and combating crimes on traffic routes.

During patrols and controls on traffic routes, traffic police also participate in arresting subjects transporting smuggled goods.

According to statistics, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Tay Ninh Provincial Traffic Police directly and jointly arrested 30 cases and 10 subjects related to criminal violations, drugs, and transportation of prohibited goods and goods without invoices and documents.

Many cases were discovered during traffic patrols and controls, showing the vigilance and proactiveness of the traffic police force in the fight against crime on the roads.

The subjects were discovered to have taken advantage of vehicles on roads and waterways to hide and illegally transport drugs, smuggled foreign cigarettes, and goods of unknown origin. After the arrest, the Traffic Police handed over all documents and evidence to the authorities for handling in accordance with the law.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Traffic Police force of Tay Ninh province handled 17,307 violations, detained 5,409 vehicles, revoked nearly 3,000 driving licenses, deducted driving license points from more than 1,500 cases, and detained 5,409 vehicles.

On waterways, traffic police also discovered and handled 760 violations, revoking 11 captains' professional certificates./.
