According to the announcement, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists affirmed that the contest named "2025 International Children's Painting Contest - Kao International Environment Painting Contest" mentioned that "Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists" will issue certificates for the awards" is fabricated information.
The announcement also emphasized that the Association's main field of activity is photography, not painting or painting competitions. The fact that the Association's name was included in the list of sponsors and certificate-granting units for a painting competition is completely false and impersonating.
The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists would like to inform parents, children and the public to be aware and raise their vigilance against fraudulent information. The Association will coordinate with relevant agencies to clarify the incident.
Then, on June 23, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum also spoke up to confirm that it did not coordinate the organization of this activity. In the advertising post circulating online, "2025 International Children's Painting Contest - Kao International Environment Painting Contest" stated "The 200 best works will be displayed at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum", impersonating another reputable organization to serve an illegal purpose.

Currently, the phenomenon of impersonating fanpages of competitions, events, promotional programs, courses, summer camps... to appropriate people's property is becoming more and more common and sophisticated. The most familiar scenario is that impersonators obtain personal information of registrants to call, text, send emails asking them to join chats on social networks to "perform tasks", or ask them to click on strange links, request to transfer fees...
Some websites or fanpages are set up with interfaces identical to real competitions or organizations, posting false information about the registration process, competition conditions and asking users to provide bank accounts or sensitive information.
According to recommendations, social network users need to be cautious when receiving information from Facebook pages about contests and programs organized online; it is necessary to clearly verify the identity of the organizing unit before participating.
In particular, do not provide personal information, do not follow the instructions of strangers, especially money transfers to designated accounts.
