On June 26, candidates for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam will enter the first day of the exam. In order for the exam to take place safely, seriously, in accordance with regulations and achieve high results, preparations for the exam have been carefully and thoroughly prepared.

Candidates are ready to open the "door of life"

Lung Thi Ngoan's house, a 12B grade student at Muong Khuong District Ethnic Minority Secondary and High School, is nearly 20 kilometers from the school. Like other students, Ngoan has not returned home on Saturdays and Sundays like before, but has stayed at school to study harder. In the days before the exam, Ngoan's parents in Lung Khau Nhin also visited, took care of and encouraged their daughter to do well on the exam.

Lung Thi Ngoan shared: Before the important exam, we could not help but feel nervous and worried. However, with the encouragement and guidance of our parents and teachers, we were very confident to achieve the best results in the exam.

Like Lung Thi Ngoan, more than 9,200 Lao Cai students are ready to take the exam with their own expectations. Do Ha Anh, a 12A5 student at Bao Thang District High School No. 1, said: We have been well prepared by our teachers in terms of knowledge, test-taking skills as well as psychology, so we are very confident that we will achieve high results.

At 27 schools selected to host graduation exams in the province, schools are also actively reviewing and improving facilities for the exam.

Teacher Lu Van Thanh, Principal of Muong Khuong District Ethnic Minority Secondary and High School, said: As one of the three examination sites in Muong Khuong District with more than 250 candidates taking the exam, the school has arranged 11 examination rooms according to regulations; checked all facilities to ensure the exam takes place safely and effectively.

Mr. Do Minh Tam, Deputy Director of the Departmentof Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Provincial High School Graduation Exam, said: The Steering Committee for the 2025 Lao Cai Provincial High School Graduation Exam has established 5 inspection teams to inspect the exam preparation work at exam sites in 9 districts, towns and cities. The Department of Education and Training also issued a plan to inspect and check before, during and after the exam. At this point, the forces assigned to the exam sites and candidates are ready to take the exam.

Traffic police force proactively ensures safety and smoothness of the exam

Recognizing the importance of the exam, from the beginning of June, the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police Department has developed a specific plan, closely coordinating with the Department of Education and Training, schools, and local authorities to proactively deploy appropriate professional measures.

Traffic police will increase traffic flow, ensure traffic safety, and prevent congestion on roads leading to the exam venue.

To avoid local congestion, especially in high-risk areas such as Lao Cai city and Sa Pa town, the provincial traffic police have carefully surveyed the routes to assess the traffic situation, identify points at risk of congestion to have flexible traffic diversion and regulation plans. The routes around the exam area will be strictly controlled, with the entry of unrelated vehicles limited to the maximum, or traffic diversion organized remotely to ensure the most convenient movement for candidates, invigilators and parents.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thi Hai Yen, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police, said: The traffic police force has mobilized 100% of its personnel, established 13 working groups, assigned to over 20 routes and areas related to 27 exam sites. The working groups will increase patrols, guide traffic, and ensure absolute safety for students and parents taking their children to exam sites.

During the exam days (June 24-27), the traffic police force will increase its personnel to the maximum, deploying forces at all exam locations, key intersections, and main routes leading to the exam area. Traffic police officers and soldiers will be present early, before the candidates gather and will remain there until the exam ends.

The main task of the traffic police force is to guide and direct traffic; give absolute priority to vehicles carrying candidates, invigilators and vehicles serving the exam; promptly support candidates and parents when problems arise on the way to the exam site. In addition, the traffic police force is always ready to assist in picking up and dropping off candidates if necessary, ensuring that no candidates are delayed due to traffic problems.

Ensure health for students and staff at the exam site

Exam site No. 3 of Van Ban district is located at Van Ban District Ethnic Minority Secondary and High School, with an expected attendance of 224 candidates. Currently, students are actively reviewing for the exam at school and in the dormitory.

To facilitate students during the exam preparation period, the school has reviewed and maintained equipment, ensuring that 100% of the review classes have lighting and fans. In addition to participating in the review, teachers also always encourage, care, and care to help candidates have more motivation to achieve high results.

That means the school will increase its human resources to fully prepare facilities, creating the best conditions for candidates and their families from far away.

At Bao Thang District High School No. 1, preparation work is also taking place very urgently, including ensuring the health of candidates and forces participating in the exam.

Ms. Pham Thi My Hau, a medical staff at Bao Thang District High School No. 1, said: The students have had a long time to review for exams in hot weather, and are also under a lot of pressure before the important exam, so their health will be somewhat affected. I have advised the school to buy enough medicine to provide timely first aid when unexpected cases occur.

To ensure medical work for the graduation exam, the Department of Health has developed plans and solutions, and directed medical units to actively participate in ensuring the exam takes place safely. Medical centers of districts, towns, and cities in the province coordinate to monitor food safety and hygiene at food service establishments and collective kitchens in localities with exam sites, ensuring that there is no acute food poisoning for candidates and forces participating in serving the exam.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, the whole province has 9,243 candidates registered to take the exam, including 8,911 students in grade 12 and 332 independent candidates. Lao Cai province established an examination council with 27 examination sites and 398 examination rooms, 14 waiting rooms to ensure the regulations in the high school graduation exam regulations.
