Promoting the spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers, over the past few days, officers and soldiers of Regiment 174, Division 316, Military Region 2 have been urgently working with the government and people in Son La province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Accordingly, the flash floods and landslides in Son La province at the end of July caused heavy losses in human lives and property. Receiving the task from the superiors, from August 8, Regiment 174 sent 100 officers and soldiers to help people build and repair houses and structures affected by flash floods and landslides in the communes of Chieng So, Huoi Mot, Muong Lam, and Bo Sinh.

Sticking to the area, determined to complete the task in September according to the direction of the superiors, up to now, the unit has participated in building 19 houses; dismantling and transporting 2 stilt houses; relocating 1 household in urgent relocation; supporting the construction of 1 stilt house; helping 2 schools clean up, preparing for the new school year (Ban Dua Kindergarten, Chieng So commune and Khua Ho Primary School, Huoi Mot commune) and many households clean up after floods... with a total of 1,000 working days.
