Dong Nai province currently has 8 border communes, with over 10,000 boarding and semi-boarding students. However, so far, only 882 classrooms have been provided. According to calculations, in the coming time, the province will need about 400 billion VND to complete the school system.

At the meeting, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized: Provincial leaders identified investment in education in border areas as a key political task, closely linked to stabilizing people's lives, sustainable development and protecting national sovereignty.
Therefore, border localities need to proactively coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review planning work and arrange land locations appropriately to have a roadmap for investment in building schools and classrooms. For works that are still in use, it is necessary to carefully review and propose investment and repair needs, ensuring that all schools in the coming time must meet level 2 standards according to the roadmap of the Ministry of Education and Training .
At the same time, proactively review the facilities of all schools in the area; promptly advise and propose to provincial leaders to have a plan to arrange investment funds for each appropriate stage.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son suggested that the Department of Education and Training should proactively coordinate with localities, synthesize recommendations and proposals to soon advise provincial leaders on investment plans in stages. Note that the process of collecting opinions and proposing investment projects requires the participation of the Board of Directors of schools - those who directly use them, to fully promote the functions and effectiveness of projects.
