Infectious diseases continue to increase

The dengue fever epidemic continues to be complicated, with 789 cases of the disease requiring hospitalization this week, an increase of 180 cases compared to the previous week. Since the beginning of 2025, Dong Nai province has recorded more than 9,800 cases of dengue fever, an increase of nearly 6,000 cases compared to the same period last year.

As for hand, foot and mouth disease, the number of cases last week was 228, an increase of nearly 50 cases compared to the previous week. Families with young children, childcare groups, preschools and kindergartens need to do a good job of maintaining personal hygiene for children and keeping schools and classrooms clean to prevent disease.
