Agribank Thanh Hoa branches show gratitude and give gifts on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the branches of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) in Thanh Hoa province, including: Agribank Thanh Hoa, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa and Agribank Bac Thanh Hoa visited and presented gifts to cadres, wounded and sick soldiers at the Center for Care and Nurturing of Meritorious People in Thanh Hoa province; Sam Son Nursing Center for Meritorious People and Thanh Hoa Nursing Center for Meritorious People in Thanh Hoa province.

Agribank branches donated 70 million VND to the Center for Care and Nurturing Meritorious People in Thanh Hoa province.

The total amount of gifts given to the 3 centers is worth 130 million VND, specifically: 70 million VND to the Thanh Hoa Province Center for Care and Nurturing Meritorious People; 30 million VND to the Sam Son Center for Nursing Meritorious People; 30 million VND to the Thanh Hoa Province Center for Nursing Meritorious People. This action demonstrates the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", caring for meritorious people and responsibility to society and the community of Agribank, continuing to affirm the position of Agribank - Bank for the community.

At the places visited, representatives of Agribank branches, on behalf of the staff, sent greetings and encouragement to the wounded soldiers and nurses at the centers; expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the wounded soldiers for the independence and freedom of the nation, for the peace and happiness of the people. At the same time, they affirmed that the wounded soldiers and sick soldiers being treated at the centers are beautiful examples of the spirit of overcoming difficulties and defeating diseases for many generations to follow.

In recent years, in addition to effective business activities, Agribank branches in the province have always actively participated in charity activities "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source", regularly organizing activities to visit and give gifts to wounded soldiers, people with revolutionary contributions, policy beneficiaries who are poor households, and people in especially difficult circumstances with a budget of billions of VND each year.
