The program is jointly organized by the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Association of Hanoi City, Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum, the Liaison Committee of Truong Son Female Soldiers of Hanoi City, Regiment 30 of the Mobile Police Command and Pushcom Vietnam Company Limited.
The program opened with an incense offering and candle lighting ceremony at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs of the Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum, where the names of 19,243 soldiers who fell on the legendary route are recorded.
Wreaths, bright candles and solemn moments of silence are a profound tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
In a solemn atmosphere, Colonel Nguyen Duc Thuan, Chairman of the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Association of Hanoi City, reviewed the glorious tradition of Truong Son soldiers during the years of fighting against the American imperialists.
With the theme “Legendary Truong Son”, the art program brought viewers back to the heroic atmosphere of Truong Son in the past through immortal songs, such as: The Truong Son Stick, Steps on the Truong Son Range, Truong Son Dong-Truong Son Tay, The Girl Who Opened the Road… Interspersed with the art performances were historical documentary films recreating memories of a time of war.
At the program, the audience had the opportunity to interact with witnesses, the people who created the legendary Truong Son road to contribute to the great victory in the spring of 1975.
Memories of the glorious but also difficult years of living witnesses help the younger generation better understand the historical period of the nation, thereby contributing to fostering pride and deep gratitude in each person's heart.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 30 gifts to show gratitude to families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people.
