Business planning training for cooperative staff

(Baohatinh.vn) - Updating production and business knowledge for staff in Ha Tinh is extremely necessary to contribute to innovation and promote collective economic development.

On the morning of June 23, Ha Tinh Cooperative Union organized a training course on business planning knowledge for cooperative officials and members in 2025.

The province currently has more than 1,000 cooperatives, of which nearly 920 are operating. The total number of cooperative and cooperative union management staff is currently more than 7,000 people, of which only 9% have received primary and intermediate training and only 5% have college and university degrees. Therefore, updating production and business knowledge for staff is extremely necessary to contribute to innovation and promote collective economic development.

Accordingly, in 2 days (June 23-24), nearly 60 cadres from cooperatives of Huong Son district, Huong Khe district, Vu Quang district, Hong Linh town, Ky Anh district and Ky Anh town were imparted knowledge and shared experiences on the following contents: general overview of production and business plans; analysis of market situation and cooperatives' ability to participate in the market; production and business planning in cooperatives.

Thereby, improving financial management capacity helps cooperative members understand how to operate, monitor and use financial resources effectively. At the same time, it helps cooperatives to be proactive in production and business planning; proactively allocate reasonable funding sources; and improve operational efficiency in cooperatives.

Through group discussions, participants also practiced analyzing hypothetical situations related to vision building, forming and selecting business ideas, making specific plans and building production processes according to the characteristics of each cooperative, each region and especially the construction of value chains, in order to equip themselves with necessary knowledge and professional skills, contributing to improving the quality of staff, meeting the requirements in the period of innovation.

At the training session, members also proposed and recommended some difficulties and obstacles in current production and business activities to aim at sustainable development of cooperatives.
