At the Center for Care and Nurturing People with Meritorious Services (Sam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa Province), the delegation presented 116 gifts from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region 4 Command to the beneficiaries and officers and staff of the Center. Major General Hoang Duy Chien happily announced the outstanding results in the policy work of the Military Region 4 in recent times. In particular, focusing on fully and promptly implementing the regimes and policies for war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs; well organizing gratitude activities, taking care of the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Visiting and presenting gifts to a number of martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and those infected with toxic chemicals, the delegation kindly inquired about their health and daily life, and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of wounded and sick soldiers and people with revolutionary contributions. Major General Hoang Duy Chien affirmed that the officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces always remember and deeply appreciate the contributions of previous generations; at the same time, he hoped that Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs would continue to live happily and healthily, and be shining examples for the younger generation to learn from and follow.
