Attending were representatives of military units of Military Region 7 and members of the Provincial Steering Committee 515.
Over the past 5 years, with dedication, perseverance and a high sense of responsibility, Team K72 - the core unit in the work of collecting martyrs' remains under the Military Command of Binh Phuoc province - has closely coordinated with Cambodia and the active help of local people to search for and recover 684 remains.
Of these, 412 remains were gathered in Cambodia. During the 2024–2025 dry season alone, authorities found 168 remains of martyrs, 17 of which were solemnly buried on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The whole province of Binh Phuoc currently has 10,634 martyrs' graves, of which 6,004 have been identified. Notably, the province has completed the database entry for 3,836 martyrs, reaching a rate of 100%. At the same time, 240 biological samples have been sent to the Department of Meritorious People for DNA identification, thereby identifying the identities of 105 martyrs by empirical methods - numbers full of humanity, helping the martyrs' relatives find a part of the sacred memory that seemed to have been lost forever.
The assessment at the conference showed that the work of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia and in the province is not only a responsibility, but also a profound expression of the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water". Each set of remains exhumed and brought back for burial is a time when the motherland is repaid, a time when the people show their gratitude to those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the noble international duty.

In the period 2026-2030, the province will continue to carry out the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in the two provinces of Kratie and Kampong Thom of the Kingdom of Cambodia. With the event of the entire Steering Committee 515, the K72 Team is expected to continue to promote the tradition of "walking without traces, cooking without smoke, speaking without sound" of soldiers in peacetime, persistently and silently in the journey of gratitude that has no end.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding contributions to the search and collection of martyrs' remains in the 2021-2025 period and the 2024-2025 dry season were commended and rewarded by the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province.
