40 works won the 7th Reading Culture Ambassador contest

BPO - On the morning of June 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Phuoc province held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the 7th Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2025.

Delegates, representatives of schools and award-winning students attended the ceremony.

Mr. Nong Hong Thuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, spoke at the closing ceremony.

The contest was launched in March 2025, attracting the participation of a large number of students from schools in the province with 686 articles and 7 videos . After 3 rounds of serious selection, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 40 excellent works, in the following groups of topics: Impressions on books, short stories and poems encouraging reading, continuing stories, plans to develop a reading culture. The Organizing Committee selected 6 highest-winning entries to participate in the national final round. At the same time, 2 prizes were awarded to the unit with the largest number of participants and the unit with the most prize-winning contestants.

Mr. Nong Hong Thuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest awarded 2 collective prizes to 2 school units.

The contest continues to affirm the role and influence of books and reading culture in families, schools and society. This is not only a useful playground for students to share their feelings and reading experiences, but also contributes to arousing a passion for reading, forming reading habits and skills in the young generation, thereby promoting the reading movement and developing a sustainable reading culture in the community.
