Binh Thanh Hospital responds to 7 years of blood sugar control campaign

(Dan Tri) - Binh Thanh Hospital organized a scientific seminar, responding to the 7-year HbA1c below 7% campaign with the theme "High blood sugar, many complications", updating knowledge related to diabetes, how to control and prevent complications of the disease.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder with complex developments. The Ministry of Health 's guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes mention that poor control of diabetes, which causes chronic hyperglycemia (blood sugar) over a long period of time, will cause metabolic disorders of carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids, causing damage to many different organs, especially the heart and blood vessels, kidneys, eyes, and nerves.

The scientific conference "High blood sugar, many complications" updates information on blood sugar control and blood pressure control in diabetic patients.
