19-8 Hospital of the Ministry of Public Security provides free eye examination and surgery for the poor in Pa Vay Su commune.

On the morning of July 9, at Xin Man Regional General Hospital, Pa Vay Su commune, 19-8 Hospital of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Provincial Police and Ha Giang Eye Hospital to organize a program of free eye examination and surgery for the poor in Pa Vay Su commune and neighboring localities.

The doctor performs cataract surgery on the patient.

During the 3 days from July 9 to 11, the program will conduct screening, surgery and treatment of eye diseases for 100 elderly patients. In addition, ophthalmologists from Hospital 19-8 and Ha Giang Eye Hospital will advise people on eye care, prevention of dangerous diseases and raising awareness of protecting public health.

BIDV Bank Thanh Xuan Branch (Hanoi) donated 300 million VND to the program.

The program not only helps people detect and effectively treat eye diseases, but also creates opportunities for central and local medical staff to share expertise and transfer techniques to doctors at Xin Man Regional General Hospital, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the facility.

The program organizers presented gifts to poor patients being treated at Xin Man Regional General Hospital.

On this occasion, the 19-8 Hospital of the Ministry of Public Security , the Provincial Police and volunteer units presented 100 gifts including essential necessities to patients in difficult circumstances being treated at Xin Man Regional General Hospital and members of the security and order team of Pa Vay Su commune. At the same time, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) - Thanh Xuan Branch (Hanoi) donated 300 million VND to the program, providing more resources for volunteer activities for the community to spread more and more.
