This is a sacred activity, expressing respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of the nation, the founder of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.
Exactly a century ago, on June 21, 1925, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - President Ho Chi Minh gave birth to Thanh Nien newspaper, laying the foundation for Vietnam's revolutionary press. Since then, the revolutionary press has continuously grown, becoming a vanguard force on the ideological and cultural front, a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, accompanying the glorious revolutionary cause of the nation.
Proud to be Party journalists in the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho, Nghe An Newspaper always remembers his teachings about the role of the press in the revolutionary cause.
With 64 years of establishment and development, Nghe An Newspaper - the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, the voice of the government and people of Nghe An province, has always maintained its political stance, steadfast in its principles and goals; constantly innovated and created, keeping up with the development trends of modern journalism.
From the traditional print newspaper platform, Nghe An Newspaper has strived to transform itself, determined to build a multi-platform press ecosystem, including e-newspapers, social networks, etc. Thanks to that, the Newspaper's press works have increasingly spread strongly, vividly reflecting the political, economic, cultural - social, national defense - security life in the area; actively contributing to the construction and development of the homeland.
The prestige and unique identity of Nghe An Newspaper are clearly demonstrated through the quality of its content, approach to issues and its outstanding achievements at prestigious press awards. On average, Nghe An Newspaper wins about 60 press awards each year at the central, ministerial, sectoral and local levels.
