Bac Lieu: Quickly support households affected by storms

On June 15, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Lieu province said that Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu directed the Provincial Military Command to coordinate with the Bac Lieu City People's Committee to review, count, and assess the extent of house damage and support the work of overcoming the damage caused by thunderstorms and tornadoes.

The house's roof was blown off by the storm.

The Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee also requested immediate implementation of support policies for households whose houses were damaged by storms and tornadoes. Relevant agencies and units mobilized forces to help and support people to quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives soon.

Previously, at around 10:20 a.m. on June 12, a tornado accompanied by thunderstorms occurred in Bac Lieu City, causing extensive property damage to several households in Nha Mat Ward, Vinh Trach Dong Commune. A total of 7 households were affected, including one house that completely collapsed.
