Dynamic Island was initially promised to bring users many interesting experiences. However, it seems that Apple has gradually "forgotten" this feature after nearly a year of launch.
Apple is about to kill Dynamic Island on iPhone products. |
Accordingly, at the WWDC 2023 event not long ago, Apple introduced the iOS 17 operating system version with a series of improvements in technology and new features. However, the company did not mention any new changes to Dynamic Island.
Additionally, according to analyst Ross Young, the iPhone's Face ID facial recognition system will be moved below the screen by 2025. By 2027, the entire selfie camera cluster and Face ID will be hidden under the screen.
BGR also said that this will be the time when Apple "kills" the Dynamic Island feature. At this point, the company no longer has any reason to keep a small interactive area on the iPhone screen.
It seems that Apple itself sees this, so the company doesn't invest too much time and effort into developing new features for the Dynamic Island area.
