Anh Vien wants to teach swimming to children across the country.

Swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien showed her openness and enthusiasm when talking about the reason for participating in the opening program, instructing free swimming classes, from 8am to 11am on May 28 at Binh Chanh District Children's House (No. 6, Street 6, Tan Tuc Town, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City): "I think it is necessary to promote the drowning prevention program, not only in Ho Chi Minh City but also in neighboring provinces, to help children and adults understand the importance of learning to swim. If I can arrange my schedule, I really want to participate in going to provinces and cities across the country to popularize swimming lessons for children. I really want to do something more meaningful in my life."

Also on May 28, Anh Vien also attended the summer opening program and responded to the Action Month for Children 2023 taking place from 5-7 pm on Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

In addition, in her role as ambassador of the program "Continue Life with Your Children" launched by Thanh Nien Newspaper, Anh Vien said she will help two children, Le Minh Khang and Le Ngoc Tuyet, learn to swim at the club named after Anh Vien. These are two children sponsored by Journalist Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper until they are 18 years old. Anh Vien said: "When my club is strong, I will spend some time helping you, because that is also my wish."

Anh Vien wants to travel across the country to popularize swimming lessons for children.

Previously, after retiring from her competitive career at the end of 2022, the talented swimmer nicknamed "little mermaid" spent time studying in swimming classes at the University of Sports and Physical Education in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, Anh Vien also arranged time to teach swimming directly to children at the swimming club named after her in Thu Duc City. Along with that, with her passion and desire to inspire people to swim, especially children, Anh Vien also participates in teaching swimming through social networking platforms. The swimming teaching clip series "Swimming is easy, Vien shows you" has created a special attraction on social networks.
