[Photo] Nearly 4,500 candidates take the entrance exam to grade 10 at Nguyen Tat Thanh School

On June 14, Hanoi National University of Education held the entrance exam for grade 10 of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School for the 2025-2026 school year. The exam was attended by nearly 4,500 candidates, while the target number was 440.

The exam is held in 152 exam rooms, arranged at 5 exam locations as follows:

Score 1 at Nguyen Tat Thanh School: 47 exam rooms, 1410 candidates;

Score 2 at House D1+D2+D4: 42 exam rooms, 1260 candidates;

Score 3 at House D3: 16 exam rooms, 415 candidates;

Score 4 at Building C: 25 exam rooms, 736 candidates;

Score 5 at House K1: 22 exam rooms, 609 candidates.

According to Hanoi Pedagogical University, this year, the exam had the participation of nearly 4,500 candidates, and the target was 440 students.

To apply, candidates must achieve a Good or higher level of academic achievement and a Good or higher level of training in all 4 years of junior high school; achieve an average score of 6.5 or higher for the entire 9th grade year in the three subjects Literature, Math, and English.

Unlike previous years, this year, the school recruits students by only one method, which is direct entrance exams in 3 subjects: Literature, Math, English. This is a new point compared to previous school years when there were 3 forms: Direct admission, entrance exam and admission based on the 10th grade entrance exam scores organized by the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training.

The school is expected to announce the benchmark scores on June 26.
