With the current income of many people, buying social housing at a reasonable price and receiving loan support will help them have a stable place to live and work with peace of mind. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, an employee of Co.opmart Thanh Hoa Supermarket , who is living in social housing in Quang Thang apartment building, Dong Quang ward, shared: Borrowing social housing capital not only enjoys preferential interest rates but also has a long loan term, we are less pressured to repay the debt. When customers have financial difficulties, the bank promptly supports, and if they pay off early, there is no fee, which are the "plus points" of this credit program. For workers with limited salaries like us, without social housing capital, it will be very difficult to buy a house. After stabilizing our lives, we realized that the cost of renting is approximately the same as the amount of money to pay off the bank loan each month, while we own property and our children live in a good environment.

According to the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030", Thanh Hoa province must complete at least 13,787 apartments. Of which, phase 1 from 2021-2025 will complete 6,287 apartments; phase 2 from 2026-2030 will complete 7,500 apartments. Currently, the province has 13 projects under implementation and 14 projects in the process of selecting new investors. These days, at the Happy Home Thanh Hoa Social Housing Project (Hac Thanh Ward) invested by Vingroup , we witnessed the active working atmosphere of the construction workers. This is a project with a total area of 91,891.6m2, a scale of 18 buildings with a total of 2,824 apartments expected to be built on 6 social housing plots. The project has a traffic system, trees, sports grounds, parking lots and modern, synchronous technical infrastructure. This is one of the key projects, expected to contribute to reducing housing pressure for low-income people and creating a premise for completing the urban infrastructure network, improving the quality of life for residents. Accompanying the local government in implementing housing projects in the area, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies - Thanh Hoa Branch (VBSP Thanh Hoa) is continuing to promote the social housing loan program. Currently, the maximum loan amount is 1 billion VND. Thereby, helping customers access more capital, have enough resources to realize the dream of "settling down". The program will create financial leverage for officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, especially low-income people to access housing policies...

With only an initial amount of about 150 million VND, the rest of the homebuyer is supported through preferential loans from the Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank with stable interest rates and a maximum loan term of 25 years. Mr. Cao Nam Hung's family in Hoang Hoa commune is living in a new house thanks to this meaningful policy credit program, sharing: "Thanks to the 500 million VND loan from the program, my family has built a solid house, replacing the old, degraded house. This helps us stabilize our lives and feel secure at work."

Social housing development policies and preferential loan support programs for low-income people are being implemented synchronously and effectively, promising to contribute to opening the door and creating conditions for low-income workers and laborers to realize their dream of settling down and stabilizing their lives.
