With the spirit of “A good leaf covers a torn leaf”, “A handful when hungry is worth a bundle when full”, the fundraising event aims to set an example, multiply examples of overcoming difficulties in studying and working; mobilize help for soldiers in difficult circumstances, especially new soldiers, demonstrate comradeship, team spirit, and willingness to help each other in normal times as well as in difficult times.

The fundraiser to support the families of soldiers in especially difficult circumstances was held in a warm and affectionate atmosphere. After the appeal of the battalion commander, the benefactors, the golden hearts of the officers, soldiers, units in the entire regiment, the leaders of the government, the unions of Tho Chau commune and the leaders, localities, businesses, families of new soldiers from Cho Moi and Phu Tan districts ( An Giang ) who attended the oath-taking ceremony all enthusiastically responded.

People lined up to put money in the box, the most contributed 500,000 VND, the least contributed only a few tens of thousands of VND, but all showed a noble gesture. Sergeant To Huynh Phi Ho, Squad Leader of Squad 7, Platoon 5, Company 2, donated 100,000 VND and confided: "As a squad leader, I saw that many comrades were still facing difficulties, so I took money from my allowance to help. I think this is a very practical activity to strengthen solidarity and love for each other in the unit". Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Kien An commune, Cho Moi district (father of Private Nguyen Van Hoai Linh) attended the oath-taking ceremony and donated 500,000 VND and confided: "Seeing many of the children's families' circumstances were very pitiful, so when the unit launched the movement, I enthusiastically supported it".

Private Huynh Chi Tam, Squad 4, Platoon 2, Company 1 (from Phu Hiep commune, Phu Tan district, An Giang), one of the 6 soldiers who received money from "Comradely Love Night" said: "Currently, my father has kidney stones, my mother has a leaky heart valve and cannot do heavy work, our main source of living is fishing on the river and working for hire. Before joining the army, my sister and I had to drop out of school early to work to help the family. I was very touched to receive the money from the kind-hearted people, this is a large amount of money for my family. In the coming time, I will try harder with my comrades, overcome difficulties, and complete all assigned tasks well."

In the program, the Organizing Committee presented the family circumstances of 6 soldiers, thereby encouraging officers, soldiers and participants in the spirit of volunteerism, those with more ability should help more, those with less should help less. The program "Night of Comradeship" raised 30 million, the entire amount was divided among 6 comrades in difficult circumstances.

According to Major Vu Dinh Quang, Political Commissar of Battalion 1, Regiment 152, over the years, the Party Committee and Battalion Command have always paid attention to the work of policies and the Army's rear, leading, directing and organizing the implementation of many practical actions in both material and spiritual terms to strengthen the spirit of solidarity. Tonight, we are very moved and proud because the unit has many officers and soldiers with a compassionate heart, always willing to share to help their comrades overcome difficulties. This heart and affection is very precious and appreciated, a timely source of encouragement for comrades to overcome all difficulties and complete their tasks well.

It is known that from 2020 to present, Battalion 1, Regiment 152 has organized "Comradely Love Night" and helped 27 officers and soldiers with an amount of 103,400,000 VND.

Solidarity, mutual love, and helping each other in times of trouble and difficulty are precious traditional features of the Vietnamese people. That tradition has been highly promoted by generations of officers and soldiers of Battalion 1, Regiment 152 in particular and officers and soldiers of Military Region 9 in general, becoming a typical cultural feature over the years.
