Ronaldo's actual salary could be much higher. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Nassr Club also had to add many lucrative bonuses to the official contract for the Portuguese superstar.

This is a very high figure compared to the average income of Saudi Arabian people. In the oil-rich country, a chef for a wealthy family only earns about 82 million VND/month. Even a head chef for a large restaurant only earns about 120 million VND/month.

Other jobs are even lower. For example, working as a private driver in Saudi Arabia only pays around 10 million VND/month. The salary for a security guard/bodyguard ranges from 10 million VND - 60 million VND/month depending on the level.
