According to runner-up Phuong Anh, "Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?" is a common question not only in beauty pageants but also in job interviews. Phuong Anh received this question when applying for a scholarship at RMIT University Vietnam in 2016. At that time, Phuong Anh answered: "I want to open a milk tea shop".

But 8 years later, Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh - first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2020 - still doesn't have a milk tea shop.

"I apologize to Phuong Anh of 2016 because that didn't happen. But if the girl from 2016 could see Phuong Anh of now, I believe she would still be very proud. Not because of my achievements, reputation or work, but because of the person I have become" - Phuong Anh shared at the graduation ceremony of RMIT University held on April 9.

Phuong Anh received a master's degree in global business. Previously in 2021, Phuong Anh graduated as valedictorian of her university majoring in business information systems. Phuong Anh received scholarships for both her undergraduate and master's programs.

Sharing more about her past journey and current results, Phuong Anh said she is happy because she has strength, determination and perseverance. Happy because she is ready to seize opportunities, ready to accept risks, ready to challenge herself, ready to pursue her dreams and passion.

She also believes that in the next 5 years and the years to come, she will always feel this pride. Because what she has achieved today will be a solid foundation for her future journey.
