Runner-up Hoang Kim Chi teaches young entrepreneurs how to livestream and sell products on TikTok

Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 runner-up Hoang Kim Chi spent 2 hours teaching how to livestream sales and directly selling products to help young people in Quang Tri start businesses with OCOP products.

On November 22, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union, said that this unit had just organized a program to support livestreaming and promote trading of startup products for young people in this province on the TikTok platform, together with Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 runner-up Hoang Kim Chi.

After more than 2 hours of livestreaming on TikTok with runner-up Hoang Kim Chi, there were nearly 1,000 orders with a total revenue of nearly 200 million VND.

Participating in this livestream were 10 owners of agricultural, medicinal, and food production facilities... that have been certified to meet OCOP standards such as Cao Ca Gai Leo, An Xuan Perilla Tea, Nhat Linh Fresh Vermicelli, Lao Bao Dried Banana, and Brown Rice and Sesame Cakes. These are young people from Quang Tri who have just started their own businesses but do not have many skills in selling through digital platforms like TikTok.

When coming to the livestream, the owners of the production facilities brought along the products they made. During the 2 hours of live broadcast, these people were guided by runner-up Hoang Kim Chi on how to introduce their products on livestream in the most attractive and engaging way, while also helping the above facilities sell their products through the livestream session.

As a result, nearly 1,000 orders were "closed" by more than 2,500 live viewers of the livestream session of runner-up Hoang Kim Chi and young business owners.

Mr. Toan said that when the Provincial Youth Union launched this initiative to support young people starting businesses, runner-up Hoang Kim Chi was very supportive and willing to provide free support.

"Young entrepreneurs in Quang Tri still lack the skills to keep up with online business on digital platforms. That is why the Provincial Youth Union decided to organize this program with the support of runner-up Hoang Kim Chi. Hopefully this livestream session will help young entrepreneurs succeed," said Mr. Toan.

Runner-up Hoang Kim Chi won the Miss Fire award at the Miss Earth 2023 contest. Kim Chi is from Quang Tri, currently working as an MC as well as a representative for several brands and is a famous TikToker.
