On the afternoon of July 15, in Hanoi , the press conference of the Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 - a fashion show for people with disabilities in Vietnam - with the theme "Shape of Will" took place with the participation of many famous guests such as the top 3 Miss Vietnam 2024, speaker Nguyen Son Lam, designer Ngo Diem Huong...
Not simply an art performance, this catwalk gathered more than 50 models with disabilities from many provinces and cities across the country. Instead of focusing on the usual aesthetic standards, the program opened up an artistic space for those who were once considered “unqualified” to step onto the stage.

Designer Ngo Diem Huong - founder and Head of the Organizing Committee - shared: "I am building a journey where each outfit is a dream, each step on the catwalk is an affirmation. Even if the legs are shaking, even if the shoe heel is broken, the wearer can still shine with will."
In particular, Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and speaker Nguyen Son Lam were introduced as inspirational ambassadors of this year's program.
Ha Truc Linh emotionally said: “With my new role, I become an inspiration to the disabled community. I appreciate everyone’s efforts and meaningful journey in spreading positive messages.
I myself, when standing here, have also gone through a very long process of learning and training to get to where I am today. It is the journey of a girl with many shortcomings. None of us are perfect, the important thing is that you always develop and learn to become better every day."

Not stopping at just one show, Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 also launched the "Kind Fashion Closet" project. This is a place to gather clothes friendly to people with disabilities, designed from recycled materials, associated with environmental messages and sharing in the community.
Three continuous activities were implemented: Organizing sewing classes for people with disabilities, calling for donations of old fabrics and inviting the community to design costumes suitable for special needs.
The organizers hope the event will become the starting point for a long-term journey where fashion is not just for one group of people, but a voice for kindness and equality.
With the message “fashion is for everyone”, the program hopes to change social awareness of people with disabilities so that they are not only seen, but also respected.
Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 with the theme "Shape of Will" will take place on August 4 at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts.
