Ha Viet Dung

Born in 1987 in Hoa Binh , the childhood of Muong ethnic boy Ha Viet Dung was associated with the days of poverty in Tan Lac district, where the family had to "measure rice for each meal" and the mother had to borrow 70,000 VND to have money to celebrate Tet.

Since childhood, he has done many jobs from burning lime kilns to raking mussels to earn money to buy books. "During the summer months, my whole family had to rake mussels to sell, a basket of mussels only cost about 15,000 - 20,000 VND", the actor recalled about his difficult past.

After 2 years of military service, Ha Viet Dung decided to "go South to find opportunities" with the determination to escape poverty. He used to type paper in Dong Thap and then worked at a wedding restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City with a salary of 1.4 million VND/month.
