Hanoi's two new public high schools are expected to enroll nearly 1,000 students.

GD&TĐ - The two newly established schools are Phuc Thinh High School (Phuc Thinh commune) and Do Muoi High School (Yen So ward).

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued decisions 3781/QD-UBND and 3782/QD-UBND on the establishment of Phuc Thinh High School and Do Muoi High School, under the Department of Education and Training.

According to the decision of the Hanoi People's Committee, Phuc Thinh High School and Do Muoi High School are public general education institutions in the national education system and the system of general schools of Hanoi city; have legal status, their own seal, and open accounts at the State Treasury and commercial banks according to regulations.

The school is organized and operates according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training for high schools, under the direct direction and management of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and relevant agencies of the city.

Phuc Thinh High School, in the 2025-2026 school year, is allocated 42 civil servants and 5 contract workers according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP. Do Muoi High School is allocated 35 civil servants and 5 contract workers according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP.

Phuc Thinh High School is in the process of completion.

The high school project in Yen Hoa ward is in the final stage, expected to be completed in September 2025.

Thus, in the 2025-2026 school year, Hanoi will have 2 more high schools in operation, contributing to reducing the pressure of 10th grade enrollment. This is good news for many students and parents in the city.

Information on 10th grade enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year of the two schools will be announced by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in the next few days.

In addition to the two new schools that the Hanoi People's Committee has signed a decision to establish, there is another high school in Yen Hoa ward that is in the process of completion and will enroll students in the next school year.
