Launch of MV "Uncle Ho's Generation Youth" performed by students in 9 languages

The MV is a product made by students of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School (Hanoi) to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The MV "Uncle Ho's Generation of Youth", originally composed by musician Trieu Dang - with a special version performed in 9 languages ​​- is an elaborate artistic product, carrying a message of national pride, gratitude to previous generations, and affirming the aspiration for international integration of today's Vietnamese youth.

The project was organized and produced by Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan managed the production; director Son Tran; production assistants Vu Thi Ly and Tran Huong Giang. The MV features Nguyen Sieu students with performances in many different languages: Vietnamese, Polish, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German, English, Indonesian, Spanish.

The MV was made right at Nguyen Sieu School and all stages of MV production were done entirely by the school's students. From translating the original lyrics into 9 other languages, singing in many different languages, to the seriousness and creativity in performance, all stem from the national spirit. It is the love for the Fatherland and the pride of being in Uncle Ho's generation that has become the motivation for the students to create a meaningful work of art.

The special meaning of the MV lies not only in the creativity of bringing a traditional song to the audience in 9 languages, but also in the spirit of integration. Nguyen Sieu students have brought Vietnamese music closer to international friends, while affirming the image of a young generation of Vietnam with a strong spirit and confidence to walk side by side in the global era.

On August 20, Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School organized an activity with the theme "Under the national flag, Nguyen Sieu continues his steps". The activity was touching when nearly 2,000 teachers and students of the school formed a giant national flag in the schoolyard and sang together the song "As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory".

This MV is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day of Nguyen Sieu School. It includes the "Fatherland in the Heart" composition contest, a campaign to create paintings, short videos , songs, and poems. The contest received 1,437 paintings composed by the school's students along with creative music videos.

Besides, the thematic activities "80 years - A strip of pride" also contribute to arousing the love of history and national pride in each Nguyen Sieu student.

With its unique performance, the MV "Uncle Ho's Generation Youth" is a meaningful spiritual gift on the occasion of National Day and also conveys a strong message about the aspirations, beliefs and responsibilities of the young generation towards the Fatherland, affirming the national pride of the young generation of Nguyen Sieu School.
