The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City has just sent a document to colleges, intermediate schools and vocationaltraining institutions in the city, requesting a review of the recruitment and management of teachers in the vocational training system.
The Department requested the heads of the units that invited and recruited Mr. NTH (born in 1981) to report on the contents such as working time, position, title, total number of teaching hours... of Mr. H. at the unit.

The incident arose from the case of Mr. NTH using a fake doctorate to apply to colleges and universities to teach. The doctorate degree above is under the name of NTH, majoring in computer science, granted in 2021 (diploma number QH: 22086798528xx).
Mr. H. also holds a master's degree in information technology, awarded in 2010.
All diplomas show the place of issue as University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.
In early September, Mr. H. was accepted to work at the Vietnam College of Industry and Trade (HCMC campus) on a probationary basis. On September 18, Mr. H. was appointed to the position of Head of the Information Technology Department.
According to the school's leadership, Mr. H. said he had taught master's degrees at many universities. When applying for a job, Mr. H. provided a notarized degree.
After receiving information reflecting doubts about Mr. H's degree, the school proceeded to verify.
The school sent a notarized copy of the doctoral degree in the name of NTH to the University of Natural Sciences for verification. The above diploma result does not match the data stored at the University of Natural Sciences.
From Mr. H.'s case, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City requested heads of colleges, intermediate schools and vocational training institutions to review the recruitment, use and management of teachers at their units, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs .
For public service units, the Department requires the examination and verification of the qualifications and certificates of successful candidates when recruiting civil servants, ensuring accuracy according to legal regulations before signing the employment contract.
