Yamal shines, Barca wins Joan Gamper Cup

Barca had an overwhelming performance when crushing Como 5-0 in the Joan Gamper Cup match, providing a strong morale boost ahead of the new season.

At home, coach Hansi Flick's team controlled the game completely and opened the score in the 20th minute thanks to a dangerous low shot by Fermin Lopez, which originated from the opponent's midfield mistake.

With the goal to break the deadlock, Barca played with excitement and in just 7 minutes (35-42) scored three more goals. In the 35th minute, Frenkie de Jong assisted Fermin to complete his double with a beautiful curling shot.

Two minutes later, Fermin launched a counter-attack, Rashford crossed for Raphinha to easily score. In the 42nd minute, Raphinha stole the ball in the penalty area and then assisted Lamine Yamal to score, ending the first half with a score of 4-0.

The second half had just begun, Yamal continued to shine with a dribble into the middle and a left-footed shot to increase the score to 5-0. With a deep lead, coach Flick sent in many young players and slowed down the tempo to save energy.
