The final round of Group E of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup ended this morning (June 26) with the following results: Inter Milan won 2-0 against River Plate, Monterrey won 4-0 against Urawa Red Diamonds.

With this result, Inter Milan confidently continued to the top of the table with 7 points. Monterrey with 5 points also won the ticket with the 2nd position. River Plate and Red Diamonds accepted to be eliminated right from the group stage.

The most regrettable team in this group is probably River Plate, who had 4 points before the final round and had a good chance of advancing to the next round. However, a 0-2 defeat to direct opponent Inter Milan, combined with Monterrey's big win, left the Argentine representative in 3rd place.
