The 2025 International Police Volleyball Tournament takes place from August 26 to 30 at the National Defense Sports Stadium II, Military Region 7 (HCMC).
There are a total of 6 participating teams, including 3 Vietnamese teams: People's Public Security (with the core being the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Volleyball Team; Army (The Cong - Tan Cang); Hanoi Club with the Lao Ministry of Public Security Team; Cambodian Ministry of Interior Team (Visakha); Indonesian Police Team (Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Club).
These are all quality, famous volleyball teams. In particular, the organizers do not limit the registration of athletes, so the tournament brings together many stars.
The most notable name is "volleyball hot boy" Quan Trong Nghia, who is a member of the Mobile Police Command. Earlier this year, he joined the Ho Chi Minh City Police Volleyball Club to compete in the National Championship.
At the International Police Tournament, the striker born in 1997 was part of the People's Police team. In the domestic arena, he won the national championship and the Hoa Lu Cup. In the national team, the Vietnamese "volleyball hot boy" won the silver medal at the 31st SEA Games and the bronze medal at the 32nd SEA Games. He is currently the captain of the national men's volleyball team.

In addition, the People's Police team also has notable names such as Nguyen Van Quoc Duy, Pham Quoc Du, Che Quoc Vo Lit and the Dutch striker Ter Horst, who is 2.05m tall.
The Cong - Viettel team did not have time to register foreign players but still had all the heroes like Tu Thanh Thuan, Phan Cong Duc, Cao Duc Hoang. Foreign teams also brought their strongest squads, showing that the quality of the tournament was highly focused.
Therefore, fans have a special interest in this event. According to Tuoi Tre Online reporter's investigation, the tournament will be open to the public, without selling tickets.
In addition, the opening ceremony and opening match on August 26 will be broadcast live on VTV9 channel.
