Truck burned down on Trung Luong highway

On the afternoon of February 2, news from the Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway management agency said that the unit is coordinating with the authorities of Tien Giang province to clarify the cause of the truck burning down while traveling on the road.

According to initial information, at around 3am the same day, a truck carrying a lot of goods was traveling on the Trung Luong - My Thuan highway in the direction of Ho Chi Minh City to the West. When reaching Km80, in Cai Lay district (Tien Giang), the driver discovered smoke coming from the truck so he stopped to check. Just a few minutes later, the fire broke out strongly, quickly engulfing the truck. The driver shouted and reported to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Tien Giang Province mobilized many specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with the Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway management unit to put out the fire. However, the truck and its cargo were completely burned. The fire did not cause any human casualties but caused traffic jams on this route.
