Building a model of growing straw mushrooms indoors for households

On June 22, the Field Workshop on the topic "Building a model for growing cordyceps and a model for growing straw mushrooms indoors for households to promote socio-economic development in Binh Thuan province" took place in Phu Long town, Ham Thuan Bac district.

This activity was organized by the Center for Innovation and Application of Science and Technology of Binh Thuan (under the Department of Science and Technology) in coordination with the Program to support the application and transfer of scientific and technological advances to promote socio-economic development in rural, mountainous and ethnic minority areas in the period of 2016 - 2025. Attending the conference were leaders of the Center for Innovation and Application of Science and Technology, representatives of functional departments of Ham Thuan Bac district, local authorities and 50 households in Phu Long town.

The workshop was recently held in Phu Long town, Ham Thuan Bac district.

Here, Master Nguyen Minh Dong informed some of the main contents of the topic with the goal of successfully transferring a production model suitable to local conditions.... On this occasion, people attending the conference also visited and learned about the indoor straw mushroom growing model at Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung's household - Phu Truong quarter, Phu Long town (a household selected to directly participate in the project). It is known that the project "Building a model of growing cordyceps and a model of growing straw mushrooms indoors for households to promote socio -economic development in Binh Thuan province" is chaired by the Center for Innovation and Application of Science and Technology. In which, the cordyceps mushroom growing model is implemented centrally at the Center for Innovation and Application of Science and Technology, while the indoor straw mushroom growing model is supported for transfer to households...

Recently, the Center for Innovation and Application of Science and Technology has selected and guided the implementation of the indoor straw mushroom growing model for 20 households in the two districts of Ham Thuan Nam and Ham Thuan Bac (5 households in Phu Long town alone participated). During the implementation process, this unit also regularly monitored the model, promptly resolved any difficulties and problems that arose in order to bring economic efficiency to households participating in the indoor straw mushroom growing model.
