Up to now, the rate of hardening commune and inter-commune roads has reached 100%; village and hamlet roads have reached over 65.7%. Irrigation infrastructure has received attention for investment in new construction, renovation, repair and upgrading in a multi-purpose direction, meeting the requirements of intensive crop cultivation and aquaculture development. The rate of households using national grid electricity has reached 100%.

The structure of the agricultural sector in the commune's economy has shifted towards gradually reducing the structure of the agricultural sector and gradually increasing the value of the commercial and service industries. The commune focuses on exploiting and promoting advantages such as cage fish farming in the Da River reservoir area, linking production with the product consumption market. At the same time, it strengthens the application of science and technology, introducing suitable crop varieties such as bamboo, acacia, TBR 225 rice, etc. to improve productivity and quality and form a value chain model, improving economic efficiency. In addition, the commune strengthens the management, protection and development of forests associated with sustainable livelihoods for people; effectively promotes policies on payment for forest environmental services to increase income, encourage the community to participate in forest protection and development, and increase the economic value of forests, planting 15-20 hectares each year. In particular, the commune has initially exploited the advantages of the Da River lake area, landscapes, and ethnic cultural environment to develop tourism with a number of tourism products that tourists are interested in and experience. Notable are the community tourism spots in Mo Hem (Doan Ket Hamlet), Da Bia (Duc Phong Hamlet), and Coconut Island (Sang Bo Hamlet). Starting to put into operation small resort tourist spots such as Vay Ang Retreat, Mai Da Lodge, forming groups and teams to provide tourism services such as transportation, arts, boats, and food services, initially creating jobs and income for local workers, while also doing a good job of promoting the image, culture, and people of Tien Phong commune to attract many domestic and foreign tourists. In the period of 2020-2025, there will be more than 150,000 visitors to the commune, with an estimated revenue of more than 20 billion VND, contributing to creating jobs and improving the lives of local people.

In addition, the commune government has closely coordinated with banks in implementing policy credit programs. Total outstanding credit in the area reached 110.73 billion VND. 100% of poor and near-poor households have access to preferential policies. Credit capital contributes significantly to sustainable poverty reduction, developing agricultural - forestry - fishery production, and improving people's lives.
The family of Mr. Dinh Cong Hoach in Sang Bo hamlet is a typical example of effective use of loan capital. Previously, Mr. Hoach's family was a near-poor household. From the policy credit loan for production development, in 2024, his family escaped poverty. In 2025, his family continued to borrow 75 million VND from the Production and Business Program in Difficult Areas to build 4 fish cages, and borrowed 20 million VND from the Clean Water and Environmental Protection Program to build water tanks and toilets to improve the quality of life.
100% of poor, near-poor and escaped-poverty households of Tien Phong commune receive preferential credit loans for economic development.
Collective economic models are also of interest. The whole commune has 5 multi-industry cooperatives in aquaculture, processing and consumption of aquatic products, and providing tourism services, which is a new direction to form a chain of links in agricultural development and community tourism.

The poverty rate has decreased to 20.03%. The rate of trained workers has reached 57.5%. In the coming time, the commune will focus on leading sustainable economic development, exploiting the potential of land, forests and water surfaces; developing agriculture - forestry - fisheries; implementing national target programs well; promoting the development of collective economy, cooperatives, linking production according to value chains. Continuing to develop eco-tourism, resorts; community tourism, spiritual tourism, associated with preserving and promoting cultural identity values, promoting the expansion of tourism products to create jobs, increase income and shift the labor structure. Exploiting the potential advantages of the Da River lake area, which is planned as a national tourist area according to the Prime Minister's Decision. Plan specific aquaculture areas on the lake, take measures to reduce natural fishing. Improve the level of application of science and technology for people in aquaculture. Create favorable conditions to help people consume products, combine with tourism development on Hoa Binh Lake.
